bukit lalang / broga hill

last Saturday, my friends and I went to Broga Hill in Semenyih. Out of the blue, bestie whatsapped 'jom gi broga'. Since people around me keeps saying things like 'ooh, it is not that high' 'easiest hill i had ever climbed' 'sumpah senang', I really thought it was an easy climb and said 'ok, lets go there the day after tomorrow'. Besides, i had seen photos of this place and saw pictures of small children at this place. in my mind, i had imagined the climb to be super easy, proper pathways and that sort of stuff. -___________-"

at first we wanted to go there at 300am, but we overslept and went at 400am instead. lucky thing we didn't get lost. it took around an hour to get to this place from subang jaya.

honestly speaking, going up was exhausting and bit scary but it wasn't bad. we took 2 breaks and took us 45 minutes to reach the first peak. so if for a fit person, i think it'll take around 15 minutes.

going down was scary as the path is slippery ANDDD i've always been scared of climbing downhill ㅠ.ㅜlogically the journey downhill should be faster than going uphill, but it took almost an hour. grrrr you stupid fear.

anyhoo, if you happen to live around broga but have never went up this hill, you should. the view is nice and i think compared to other places, the climb isn't extremely hard to do ^^, (i'm not physically fit, i rarely exercise and a scared y cat, so please ignore the above rambling)

*wipes dust*

*coughs*

i had been meaning to write this blog post since last month, but my laziness triumphed effortlessly against my will to update this blog.

ok, so... aiyo. should've done this last month. now i am reminiscing the fun times i had in sydney last month. ok, so anyhoo, last month i went on a short trip to sydney. yay. we were lucky enough to get a cheap return ticket to sydney & free accommodation too. double yay.

sydney is a pretty and vibrant city, but things are expensive there. imagine, a coupke fro america told me that they think sydney is expensive. imagine that, their currency is almost the same, and the think sydney is expensive. aigoo.

i enjoyed my stay there. it was fun. easy to get around. my parents even let me wander of alone as they know i won't have problems finding my way back to the hotel. word of advice to those that are planning to go to sydney in the near future. if you're planning to stay there for more than 3 days, do purchase the weekly pass. you'll enjoy unlimited rides on public buses, trains and ferries. it is well worth it, i think it's around aud43. you can also buy the daily pass for aud21.

it's pretty easy to find halal food around the cbd. some nandos restaurants are halal. you can find out through their website. when buying food, never ever convert aud to rm. you'll definitely rather starve then buy food.
alhamdulilah, third trip in 6 months. thank you air asia >.<

if you happen to visit blue mountain, you must ride on the scenic railway. they claimed that this is the steepest incline railway in the world. not sure if that is true, but it is pretty steep.
blue mountains is roughly about 2 hours from the city. you can drive here or take the public transport. i took a day tour. if you're pressed for time, a day tour is something that you might want to consider

Bebelan seorang pembayar cukai

To all students out there,

tolonglah nikmati/hargai zaman student anda ini. kerja best sebab dapat pegang duit sendiri bagai. Tapi penat pun penat. Sebab masa tak flexible macam masa belajar. Keluar pergi kerja awal pagi. Sampai rumah lewat malam. Dapat gaji, perkara utama; bayar hutang. Ptptn, insurance etc.
