new year's resolution; to be less socially awkward

masa time dah masa time lagi -_-, tak sabar je nak membesar. macam syiok je tengok adults buat macam macam. dulu rasa kenapalah time moves soooooo slowly. ha, sekarang ni dah besar, terbalik pula. sekarang rasa eyh kenapa cepat sangat masa berlalu ni? seriously, 2011 macam sangat pantas. well at least that's how i feel. though i did nothing spectacular in 2011, i'm still am thankful for all the rezekis eh suka suki kau tambah s sepanjang tahu ni. i made new friends. jumpa balik old friends.

oooh. and alhamdulilah, tahun ni first time beli handphone, digital camera and pergi travel guna duit sendiri ^^, ye memang best bila ada orang belanja kita. tapi macam ada rasa gembira/terharu/bangga bilda dapat beli barang guna duit sendiri

kerja, alhamdulilah ada peningkatan. learned new things. anyhoo, since i'm bad with words, i'll post pictures instead ;)

finally beli instax mini! berangan nak beli before konvo tetapi apa kan daya masa tu fulus tidak mengizinkan

Bandung, November 2011 [part 1]

i was really exited this trip.it has been FOREVER since my last overseas trip ^^, <small>err, ok so singapore tu belakang kira. selalu noh gi lawat saudara</small>

anyhoo, lagi sebab riang ria gembira sebab ni first time pergi makan angin jauh-jauh (eyp, naik kapal terbang kira jauh ler tu ok) guna duit sendiri. huahuahua. terasa sedikit bangga, ok tipu. terasa sangat bangga seyh guna duit sendiri. walaupun lepas tu menangis berlagu-lagu tengok statement bank ㅠ.ㅜ

idok ler dalam plan pun nak pergi bandung. airasia was having a promotion, so my mom ajak. pretty cheap if you ask me. kitorang book like roughly 3 weeks before tarikh pergi. rm660 untuk ticket+4 nights stay at a 3 star hotel+luggage fee. not bad ay?

so most people suggest sewa kereta kalau nak ke bandung. average rental rate untuk kereta+supir/tour guide is around 450000rp untuk 16 jam. google sana google sini, jumpa ler company yang tengah buat promotion. 350000rp untuk 12 jam. ok lah. lama mana kau nak pusing kan? penat tau.

sampai bandung around 830pm. our supir/tour guide dah sampai kat airport. lepas check in, kitorang gi makan kejap. almaklumlah tak ambil meal dalam flight. lapar.

after breakfast, lepak sebentar

early to bed. early to rise. haha. semangat nak shopping punya pasal. encik tour guide bilang kena pergi pasar baru awal. senang nak park kereta and senang nak tawar menawar sebab all the traders nak pecah telur katanya.

ha, bargain jangan tak bargain. pergi pasar baru WAJIB ye bargain. telekung kat sini definitley cheaper than malaysia. but my mom said that the sulaman ke apa entah not as pretty as the ones made in medan.

pisang molen. when in bandung, you should definitely give this delicacy a try

factory outlets or FO. ok lah. murah, tapi tak ada lah super duper murah. some things are actually cheaper kat berjaya times square. hoh. but. and it's a big BUT, kat times square tak cater untuk orang yang bersaiz comel. nasib baik sini boleh jumpa size.

we went to secret first. lawa dalam dia. baju-baju dia lagi mahal lah compared to other FOs. tapi i think baju kat sini quality dia better. memandangkan pergi secret dulu, FO lain semua rasa macam 'meh'. cascade je kot yang not so bad.

penat shopping, haruslah mengisi perut. can't remember the name of the restaurant. all i know is, it's located right next to heritage. the food was nice and it wasn't expensive

soda susu. they used full cream milk, condensed milk and soda. the taste is somewhat similar to bandung soda

mula-mula ingatkan nak beli jeans kat cihampelas walk. tapi tour guide suggest pergi toko tiga since they sell original levi's there. ok, cakap pasal ori tak ori, tanya lah encik guide pasal benda ni. dia cakap kat FO tu bukan semua ori pun. jarang sebenarnya ori. dia cakap kalau ada pun, cari american brands yang kilang dia kat indonesia.

i think they love japanese food. banyak gak kedai makan jepun. hoh. even kat kfc pun adajual yakiniku

aiyak. penat sudah menaip. sambung lagi esok lah. daa

ok, so even though i had thought about owning an olympus pen, i did not think that i'll actually buy it anytime soon. boy, was i wrong.

i think i must be a chronic shopaholic. i went to subang parade with my mom to grab something for lunch. ended up buying a camera. ye memang lah kan camera tu murah 10 20 ringgit je kan. shouldn't have asked the sales person to show me the camera. mula ingat nak tengok tengok je. then he showed yang warna merah. so pretty ~

mother was like. ha belu lah beli. kalau beli boleh bawak gi bandung next week. pakai credit card make ada easy payment, 12 months installment. dslr kat rumah biar adik pakai since dia ada subject photography pun. and the sales assistant pun 'ha merah tak bayak stock leh. promotion till the end of the month but if no stock you cannot buy. we give you free camera bag some more'

haih. tempatation sungguh kuat. haha. my sister calls me the 'severely overspent sister'. memang benar sungguh. who goes for lunch then balik beli camera. bajet gaji besar. ceh. padahal...




anyhoo, since i had bought it. i can't have any regrets.




Olympus E-PL3 or Olympus Pen Lite. a compact system camera or hybrid camera. picture qualities are better than normal compact cameras, but the functions are limited compared to a dslr. i think it's suitable for people that wants to upgrade from their normal digital camera, but afraid and clueless about using a dslr. and for the dslr owners, this camera is a good option when you're to lasy to lug around your heavy and bulky camera.

pen lite is easy to use. and i love the art filters. some of the shots taken with this camera.

very friendly. she works part-time at the camera shop. she's actually a kindergarten teacher @.@

 gah. geramnya aku dengan certain shops kat sacc mall. kan opening hours shopping complex 1000am. paling lambat nak buka kedai, dalam 11 tu ok lagi. ini dah tengahari pun tak habis setup kedai. fine. makanan tak sampai sebab semua kat rumah. but it was sunday. orang kan selalu keluar gi brunch. masuk pizza hut pukul 12 pun baru nak setting. aish. huu, dulu masa kerja kat empire, kedai mesti buka at 10. kalau lambat sure management ambil gambar bukti kedai buka lambat. siap denda lagi tu

how can you be so heartless? yes, men can have 4 wives. but to go out and meet another woman while your wife is heavily pregnant is beyond selfish. shame on you. do you not know about the hardship that a woman goes through during pregnancy?

you were your mother's favourite child. though i miss her like crazy, i'm glad she is no longer around. i have no doubt that her heart will be broken if she was around to see what her son has become :'(

110305. a full me is a happy me

finally! bought the fujifilm instax mini 25. to be honest, i wanted to buy polaroid intead of fujifilm, but polaroid's film are hella expansive. the cheapest being rm75 per pack of 10. i aint that rich people. can't go buying expansive stuff like that.

bought my camera at lokomotiv checkpoint. to tell you the truth, you can save rm20 if you buy it at the click shop or save a LOT more if you pre-order it from Yeong. but the camera is temporarily out of stock from both suppliers. could've save lots of money if i had ordered it from Yeong's shop (could've even gotten the hello kitty version) but i want to bring the camera to SS3. so no choice lorh... damn, should have bought it two months ago. owh well, no use crying over split milk.

i have no idea why the picture came out senget. pretty sure i aimed the camera correctly -_-"

apart form the senget-ness, the mini 25 is pretty easy to use. just pop in the battery and film and voila, off you go.

if you're thinking of buying an instant camera, you should bear these things in mind. film is pretty expansive. got to admit that. after looking over a few websites, the cheapest you can get is at rm25, that is if you buy in bulk. secondly, they use cr2 battery. the guy at the shop told me that the battery is only available at camera shops and it's life expectancy is about 20 pcks of film.

the fujifilm instax mini comes in a few models, 7,25,50,. the 7s comes in many colours and versions; white, choco, pink, blue, hello kitty white, hello kitty choco, pooh and mickey. they use double a batteries, which are easier to find. but, it is quite bulky, doesn't come with a macro lens and you have to control the exposure manually. so if you're no good at figuring out which exposure to use like me, this manual exposure thing can be quite troublesome. pictures may come out to bright or too dark.

50. the specs are somewhat the same. the differences lies in the colour, the built (sleeker) and self timer mode (not sure about this).

ps: read the manual. apparently if you take out the batteries when the camera is not in use, they can last up to 30 packs of film.
