*coughs*
i had been meaning to write this blog post since last month, but my laziness triumphed effortlessly against my will to update this blog.
ok, so... aiyo. should've done this last month. now i am reminiscing the fun times i had in sydney last month. ok, so anyhoo, last month i went on a short trip to sydney. yay. we were lucky enough to get a cheap return ticket to sydney & free accommodation too. double yay.
sydney is a pretty and vibrant city, but things are expensive there. imagine, a coupke fro america told me that they think sydney is expensive. imagine that, their currency is almost the same, and the think sydney is expensive. aigoo.
i enjoyed my stay there. it was fun. easy to get around. my parents even let me wander of alone as they know i won't have problems finding my way back to the hotel. word of advice to those that are planning to go to sydney in the near future. if you're planning to stay there for more than 3 days, do purchase the weekly pass. you'll enjoy unlimited rides on public buses, trains and ferries. it is well worth it, i think it's around aud43. you can also buy the daily pass for aud21.
it's pretty easy to find halal food around the cbd. some nandos restaurants are halal. you can find out through their website. when buying food, never ever convert aud to rm. you'll definitely rather starve then buy food.
alhamdulilah, third trip in 6 months. thank you air asia >.<

if you happen to visit blue mountain, you must ride on the scenic railway. they claimed that this is the steepest incline railway in the world. not sure if that is true, but it is pretty steep.
blue mountains is roughly about 2 hours from the city. you can drive here or take the public transport. i took a day tour. if you're pressed for time, a day tour is something that you might want to consider
